Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum and guidelines.
• Develop appropriate lesson plans and resources that cater to the varying needs and abilities of students.
• Promote and encourage active participation in physical activities, providing a safe and inclusive environment for students to reach their full potential.
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to facilitate their growth and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to organize and participate in school sports events, competitions, and clubs.
• Establish good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, maintaining effective communication to foster a positive learning environment.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Physical Education and employ innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Proven experience teaching Physical Education at the primary or secondary level.
• Comprehensive understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate students with diverse needs and abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Passion for physical fitness and promoting healthy lifestyles among students.
