An outstanding and highly regarded secondary school in Hounslow is seeking an exceptional Graduate Teaching Assistant to join its dedicated and high-performing team. This role will commence in June, offering a valuable early start before continuing a full-time basis throughout the next academic year from September.

The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to contribute to a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4 within the classroom.
- Providing one-to-one and small group academic support to raise attainment.
- Assisting with lesson delivery, preparation, and classroom organisation.
- Helping to manage behaviour and maintain a focused learning environment.
- Supporting students with varying learning needs, including those requiring additional support.
- Gaining exposure to curriculum planning, assessment, and wider school life.
The June start date offers a unique opportunity to gain early classroom experience, build confidence, and establish relationships before continuing into a full academic year role from September.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking high-calibre graduates who:
- Russell Group graduates, or final-year students, on track to achieve a 2:1 degree or above in any subject.
- Are due to graduate this year and available to begin a full-time role in June.
- Have a strong academic background and a clear interest in education.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are professional, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Have experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
