Location: London - With hybrid working

Salary: £51,000 - £57,000 + Excellent benefits

We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to join our client's National Innovation Incentives Tax Team as an Assistant Manager .

You will be contributing to delivering R&D tax relief and Patent Box claims , as well as wider intellectual property advisory engagements, collaborating with a diverse client base ranging from start-ups to multinational organisations . What does the day to day look like?

This position offers both interesting technical work and real variety, including technical analysis, client engagement and on boarding, claim preparation and technical interviews , as well as initial reviews of work delivered by junior members of the team, and business development support. In addition, you will coach and mentor more junior staff, contribute to quality and risk management, and collaborate with other areas of the business.

What are they looking for?

• Technical Expertise: Proficient understanding of UK R&D tax legislation and experience preparing R&D tax relief claims.
• Client Engagement: Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary contact for queries and support.
• Project Management: Capable of managing timelines, budgets, resources, and ensuring deliverables meet high-quality standards.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to write detailed technical project descriptions and engage effectively with clients and teams.
• Team Leadership: Experience coaching and mentoring junior professionals, overseeing their work, and supporting their development.
