Do you want to help us shape what the future of work will look like and how it will best embrace our life's aspirations? If this sounds like a journey you want to embark on, we may have the right role for you! PayFit is an intuitive cloud-based payroll and employee management solution designed specifically for SMBs. Since 2015, we have set ourselves a mission to simplify payroll for SMBs and enable employers and employees to grow together. Care: We genuinely care for others whoever they are, whatever they think.

Excellence: We aim to improve and achieve better results every day.

Humility: Staying humble and exchanging transparent feedback helps us to grow and improve.

Position Overview

As a Content & Community Manager, you'll own PayFit's UK content strategy across the funnel and establish our UK community initiatives from the ground up. From lead magnets and case studies to small networking events and advocacy, you'll shape how we show up, connect, and grow in the UK market.

You'll create content that moves prospects through the buyer journey, manage customer storytelling, and test new community formats—networking events, roundtables, and online spaces—to build genuine relationships with our ideal prospects and customers.

This is a new role with an entrepreneurial edge: you'll work closely with our Senior Marketing Manager in the UK to define what "PayFit community" looks like in the UK, while executing a quarterly content pipeline that supports Sales and Customer Success. You'll collaborate with the global content team and own the UK brand voice across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Production
  • Manage quarterly content pipeline across TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU (lead magnets, case studies, web copy, ad copy)

  • Create and maintain UK website copy that aligns with brand and converts

  • Produce customer case studies and coordinate video testimonials end-to-end

  • Review and adapt content from global team and freelancers for UK market relevance

Community Building

  • Plan and execute UK community events: networking lunches, dinners, roundtables, and meetups with target ICPs

  • Test and iterate on a different number of community formats

  • Build and nurture relationships with customers and partners to fuel advocacy and engagement

Customer Advocacy

  • Coordinate customer outreach for testimonials, case studies, and video content

  • Build and maintain a customer advocate database

  • Partner with Sales and CS teams to identify and activate brand champions

Brand & Web Management

  • Contribute to UK website revamp project

  • Ensure brand consistency across UK touchpoints

  • Govern content quality, tone, and messaging across channels

Performance & Optimisation

  • Track content and community engagement metrics

  • Report on ROI and impact; iterate based on data and feedback

We'd love to meet someone with...

  • 1-2 years of experience in content creation (copywriting, case studies, web copy, ads, newsletters)

  • Excellent writing across formats: long-form, web, ads, newsletters

  • Understanding of content strategy and funnel marketing

  • Self-starter mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, testing, and building from scratch

  • Strong relationship-building skills internally and externally

  • Genuine interest in community-building and bringing people together

  • Project management skills: able to manage multiple work streams simultaneously

  • B2B content experience preferred

Nice to have

  • Experience coordinating video production or vendor management

  • Familiarity with event planning or community programming

  • Exposure to SMB or HR tech audiences

  • Storytelling ability: making customers the hero, using data-driven narratives

Interview process

  1. Interview with the Talent Acquisition team – 30min

  2. Interview with the hiring manager – 45min

  3. Business case with Hiring Manager and Content Lead – 45-60min

👉 Background Check (ISO27001 certification): identity, diploma, and past professional experiences will be checked after the offer.
