HGV Driver LBS-004 (Project)

Salary: £18.55
The right candidate would work on a dustcart alongside a loader. Drivers are required to help with loading and the ability to plot their route through the daily schedule.
Candidates must be prepared to work flexibly within a small team, ensuring rounds are completed, in timely manner.
Equally as important, is to have over time developed interpersonal skills to work well within a small, settled team of loaders and drivers.
Prior driver assistant training would be a plus though training could be provided.
Knowledge, including educational qualifications:
- An understanding of, and commitment to, the Council’s Equality and Diversity Policies in connection with employment and service provision.
A full, clean class 1 or class 2 heavy goods vehicle licence for LGV drivers
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years experience of working in a cleaning, grounds maintenance, waste management or related work environment as a driver/ LGV driver
