Logistics Manager

KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Logistics Manager for our client based in London.

As a Logistics Manager your working hours and days are:

• Monday- Friday (weekends may be required to work)
• Varied working hours

The rate of pay as a Logistics Manager is:

• £40,000- £45,000 per annum

The duties and responsibilities as a Logistics Manager are:

• Manage 3rd party logistics partners, ensuring the service provided meets the expectations
• Act as the point of contact for all transportation aspects with key customers fostering strong, long-term relationships working closely with the Partner and Customer success teams
• Delivery Planning: Plan and schedule delivery time slots, ensuring that customer expectations are met while optimizing resources and routes for efficiency
• Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve any complaints or issues related to logistics operations, including those pertaining to delivery delays, order inaccuracies, and customer satisfaction
• Monitor supplier health metric, track KPI’s and report regularly to the suppliers
• Proactively engage with partner and customer success teams to understand their goals, challenges and needs providing solutions
• Advocate for customers by communicating feedback to sales, and support teams
• Conduct quarterly management reviews with suppliers offering performance insights and discussing future goals

The ideal candidate for a Logistics Manager would need:

• Proven experience within logistics,
• Previous experience within warehouse management, or transportation, with a strong focus on customer serviceis essential
• Excellent understanding of third party logistics and management process’s
• Excellent communication skills to effectively deal with customers and vendors
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
