This is an incredibly rare opportunity to join my client, an innovative, industry-leading Technology Company renowned for providing intelligent technological solutions to the environmental sector. They are keen to find a passionate, talented Senior Full Stack Systems Developer with knowledge of, and an evident passion for, the environment. You will take the lead in developing the future of the product, and must therefore be keen to take on a variety of challenges whilst leading an already-established team of professionals, based near the iconic, richly-cultural Capital City of London.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Full Stack Systems Developer include:

Managing an already-established team of industry professionals
Overseeing the production, deployment, and continued development of the company's core product across the environmental sector, focusing on strategy and business development
Ensuring the continued maintenance of the company's core products and services, to the highest of standards that the company has become known for delivering
Taking responsibility for the long-term quality and security of the Source Code

Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Full Stack Systems Developer include:

A UK Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Data Science, Software Engineering, or a similar, relevant field
Extensive experience of working in a Full Stack Developer role
Considerable experience of developing software products for use within the environmental sector
Experience of overseeing the Full Software System Lifecycle of a product, demonstrating your commitment to continued development and improvement
Demonstrable experience in the use of Java Middleware, API, Docker, and MQ systems
Good working knowledge of performance and security in Enterprise Systems
Experience of working with networks: LAN & WAN/Internet and Security
Prior experience of Database Access Design and Application Optimisation
Demonstrable experience of working with Human Computer Interaction (HCI) in Software Systems, including Machine-to-Machine Automation Technologies
Keen proficiency in Software System Design, Development, Testing, and Deployment Strategies for High Availability

Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Full Stack Systems Developer include:

Experience of developing software products for use within a Water/Hydrological Environment (e.g. environmental water quality, flood risk and mitigation, etc.)
Prior experience with Deep Learning Neural Network Platforms
Previous experience with Enterprise Linux Platforms
Experience of leading/mentoring a team of developers
