Occupational Therapist - Adults Social Care (Independence & Access)
Liquid Personnel is recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join its clients Independence & Access team , supporting residents to maintain independence and safely access their homes and communities.
This role sits within Adult Social Care, focusing on assessment, equipment, and adaptations , helping reduce reliance on long-term care and promoting independence.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Carry out strengths-based Care Act assessments
- Provide recommendations for equipment and minor/major adaptations (DFG)
- Support individuals to remain independent at home
- Undertake functional and environmental assessments
- Complete moving & handling risk assessments
- Work closely with housing, health, and social care partners
- Maintain accurate case records and documentation
- Contribute to waiting list reduction and service efficiency

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- HCPC Registration
- Experience within Adults Social Care
- Knowledge of:
- Care Act 2014
- Equipment & adaptations
- Moving & Handling
- Strong assessment and case management skills
Desirable:
- Experience within a Local Authority OT service
- Knowledge of DFG / adaptations pathway
- Experience in community-based OT work
