Music Teacher (QTS Required)
A welcoming secondary school in Croydon is seeking a qualified Music Teacher to join their team from September on a long-term basis. Interviews are taking place next week, so applications are encouraged as soon as possible. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed Music Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Croydon from September 2026.
This is a full-time, long-term position with interviews scheduled for next week, making it ideal for teachers who are available to secure their role before the summer break.
The successful candidate will primarily teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to provide some additional classroom cover, including English lessons where required. The school is looking for someone who can engage students through creative and well-planned lessons while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Music Teacher (QTS Required) you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Experience teaching Music at secondary level, ideally across KS3 and KS4.
- The flexibility and confidence to provide some additional classroom cover, including English, where required.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- A commitment to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- The right to work in the UK.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
