Governess-Governor

A warm and welcoming international family are looking to recruit an exceptional Governess / Nanny to become a long-term member of their childcare team, caring for their delightful triplet boys, aged 3½ years. The family are currently spending the summer in Mayfair, London until 7th August 2026 before returning to Mumbai, where the successful candidate will relocate with them either on a full-time or part-time basis. A separate self-contained apartment will be provided together with an excellent salary package.

This is a child-focused role working alongside an established team of four experienced nannies who manage all nursery duties, children's cooking and laundry. The successful candidate will take a lead role in planning stimulating educational activities, encouraging learning through play and helping each of the boys flourish as individuals.

The boys enjoy tennis, horse riding and attending Purple Dragon Members' Club. Whilst in London, the role will involve organising exciting outings to museums, galleries, farms, zoos, parks and other interactive attractions. The family would love someone who knows London well, is confident navigating the city safely and enjoys creating memorable experiences for young children.
At home, you'll spend your time reading stories, encouraging imaginative play, arts and crafts, junk modelling, sensory activities, construction play, music and outdoor adventures. The family have very limited screen time and place a huge emphasis on curiosity, creativity and learning through play.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have excellent experience with preschool-aged children.
• Have a teaching, Early Years or educational background (desirable).
• Be confident working within a fully staffed household and alongside other nannies.
• Be proactive, organised and able to take initiative.
• Enjoy planning creative, stimulating and educational activities.
• Have excellent knowledge of London and strong safety awareness.
• Support healthy routines, hydration, snacks and outdoor safety.
• Be warm, engaging, discreet and professional.
• Be happy to relocate to Mumbai on either a full-time or part-time basis and travel with the family when required.
