We are looking for a Security Officer at our client side based in South West London.
Our client is part of a group of Museums who hold many different events over the course of a year. These include weddings and corporate events. You will be expected to make your to and from the events using pubic transport.

As a Security Officer you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

A typical day in the life as a Security Officer:

• To carry out security patrols across the Museum's site and buildings as per post/ patrol instructions,
  SOPs' and AIs' and/ or as directed by Security Supervisors/ Managers
• To play an integral role in any emergency including fire evacuation, terrorist incident, dealing with
  unsocial behaviour, first aid incidents etc.
• Provide a visible preventative security presence at posts and through patrolling ‘Front of House',
  galleries, foyers, and perimeter areas including ‘bag search' and ‘Back of House' collections facilities,
  libraries, and other museum areas.
• To investigate matters of concern reported by the control room including alarm activations.
• Undertake other ad hoc security duties when required such as event/ function security.

  attendance to ensure team effectiveness and availability
