An SEN Teacher is needed at a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South London.

This SEN Teacher role will be full time and permanent.

You will need to teach LAPs and SEN students in Literacy classes, specifically following Lexia, Hackney Literature and Phonics syllabuses if appointed for this SEN Teacher post.

The rates of pay for this SEN Teacher position will be between £170 and £320 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

The School

An 'Outstanding' Secondary School & Sixth Form in the London Borough of Merton.

It is a mixed, 11 - 18, non-selective school with a wide demographic of pupils and staff.

90% of students stay in education or employment after Key Stage 4.

The site has its own dedicated SEN Support Centre and a variety of sports facilities.

Ofsted have noted there is positive culture of learning and a strong sense of community.

Requirements

You're welcome to apply if you're a recently qualified SEN Teacher or experienced SEN Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained SEN Teacher or overseas trained SEN Teacher.

• Right to work in the UK
• Clear and up to date DBS
• UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
• Experience as an SEN Teacher in UK schools
