About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for candidates with suitable experience.

Working within a well-established department, you will help inspire students to develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity while contributing to a broad extracurricular sports programme.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that challenge and inspire students.

• Teach Girls' Physical Education across KS3 and KS4.

• Deliver KS5 PE where appropriate.

• Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to maximise achievement.

• Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

• Support extracurricular clubs, fixtures and sporting events.

• Contribute positively to the continued success of the PE department.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Have experience teaching Physical Education at KS3 and KS4.

• Be confident teaching KS5 (desirable but not essential).

• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for PE.

• Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

• Have strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.

• Have the right to work in the UK.
