About the role

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Rough Sleeping Prevention and Commissioning Manager to lead the development and delivery of high-impact services for people experiencing rough sleeping. This is a pivotal role within our Homelessness Prevention and Assessment Service, where you will shape and commission services that make a real difference to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
You will be responsible for commissioning evidence-based, trauma-informed services that support people off the streets and into sustainable accommodation, working closely with internal teams, voluntary sector partners, health services, and people with lived experience.
You’ll be a dynamic and experienced commissioning professional with:
- A strong understanding of homelessness, rough sleeping, and the wider housing and support landscape.
- Experience in commissioning and procurement within a local authority setting.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to equity, inclusion, and working collaboratively with people with lived experience.
- The ability to think strategically and translate policy into practice.
