• Salary: Paid on the Inner/Outer London Teachers' Pay Scales (MPS/UPS), commensurate with experience.

The Role

• The successful Teacher of English will teach an ambitious curriculum across Key Stages 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE), and Key Stage 5 (A-Level).

• This role requires the Teacher of English to motivate and enthuse students across the entire ability range, fostering strong literacy and analytical skills.
• The Teacher of English will use the school’s VLE ('Copia') for curriculum access and to share materials with students and parents.

Requirements

• A good degree in English and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Ability to teach English Language and Literature to Key Stage 5 (A-Level).
• Knowledge of the requirements of the National Curriculum and recent curriculum/learning developments.
