Project manager - Residential Refurb
This person would be accountable for ensuring all projects and programmes are kept on track across every site, with clear ownership of timelines, deliverables, coordination, and execution.
A key part of the role is making sure every site has all the information it needs to operate and deliver properly including RFIs, drawings, instructions, programme updates, decisions, and any other critical project information. They need to ensure nothing is missed, delayed, or left unclear, and that issues are followed through to resolution.
They would also oversee site coordination, monitor progress against programme, identify risks and delays early, hold teams accountable, and make sure actions are completed without the leadership team needing to manage the detail.
We need someone very senior, hands-on, organised, decisive, and comfortable taking complete ownership of delivery across multiple sites. This is not a traditional PM role, we need someone who can effectively run the operational and delivery side of the business
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager specializing in Residential Refurbishment to lead and oversee complex refurbishment projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project timelines, and ensure the delivery of high-quality residential upgrades that meet client expectations and regulatory standards. Your leadership will drive project success through meticulous planning, resource management, and proactive problem-solving, all while maintaining a focus on safety, budget adherence, and schedule compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a significant impact on residential communities through innovative refurbishment solutions.
Duties
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of residential refurbishment projects, ensuring all phases are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, coordinating tasks across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
* Manage project resources effectively by allocating personnel, materials, and equipment to optimize workflow and productivity.
* Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to define project scope and specifications clearly.
* Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes; conduct regular site inspections.
* Utilize Civil 3D for accurate site layout planning and design coordination as needed for complex residential projects.
* Monitor project progress through detailed reporting; identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
* Ensure timely procurement of materials and services while maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
* Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
* Proven experience managing large-scale residential refurbishment projects with a strong track record of successful delivery.
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 for scheduling; experience with Civil 3D for civil design coordination is highly desirable.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
* Exceptional communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Knowledge of building regulations, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards relevant to residential refurbishments.
* Ability to analyze project data critically and adapt plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
Join us in transforming residential spaces into vibrant communities! This role offers an engaging environment where your expertise will directly influence the quality of living environments while advancing your career in project management excellence
