Part Time Nanny

A wonderful four-day nanny position has become available in Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire.

You will be looking after two happy and active children – a boy aged six and his little sister aged four. They are looking for a kind and fun nanny, who can become part of their family. Although the parents regularly work from home, this is a sole charge position. The children attend school each day.

The hours will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and Friday, 07.30-09.30 and 14.00-19.00 (28 hours/week). There could also be some ad hoc babysits and additional days, but these will be mutually agreed separately and paid as overtime.

The parents are keen for their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help them to hit their various developmental milestones – with lots of stimulating indoor fun (fun games, reading, jigsaws, arts and crafts, singing songs, imaginary play, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks to the park, trips to the farm in the school holidays, etc. You will also oversee any homework required.

As well as general care of the children, you will cook healthy and nutritious meals each day. The family has a weekly cleaner, but any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated – helping with the children’s laundry, keeping their areas tidy and organised, emptying the dishwasher, making sure all rooms are tidy at the end of the day, etc.

You will need to be a careful and confident driver with your own fully insured car and a clean licence. Duty mileage will be paid at the current government rate.
