Aviation Underwriter
Position: Senior Aviation Underwriter
Salary: £130,000 + package
Location: City of London
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow and enhance the aviation portfolio, with a focus on sustainable underwriting performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with London Market and Lloyd’s brokers, as well as internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues, acting as a referral point and contributing to professional development within the team.
- Represent the company at key industry events and within market forums to raise brand profile and identify new business opportunities. Requirements: - Proven experience in underwriting aviation risks within the London Market and/or Lloyd’s environment.
- Strong broker network and solid reputation in the aviation underwriting space.
- Deep understanding of global aviation trends, market dynamics, and risk exposures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead by example and support the development of junior talent.
