Temp Butler/Housekeeper
A private household based in the Green Park/Mayfair area of London is seeking an experienced, all-round Butler for an initial one-week trial. The role requires a proactive, flexible, and service-oriented professional capable of supporting a semi-formal yet relaxed family environment.
The household consists of two principals (husband and wife) and their two children (ages 21 and 17). The family is of Indian heritage (Andhra Pradesh/Hyderabad background).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to the principals and family members
- Ironing and wardrobe preparation
- Changing bed linen
- Assisting with general household cleaning
- Preparing dinner
- Serving food and beverages
- Dishwashing and kitchen tidying
- Running errands, including grocery shopping
- Preparing clothing for the principals
- Shoe shining
Household Environment
- Casual, non-formal household setting
- Standard professional attire acceptable
- Slippers are not permitted inside the residence
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Butler in a private household
- Flexible and willing to work extended hours during trial period
- Language proficiency is not a primary concern
Location: Green Park area, London (Mayfair)
Contract Type: Temporary (1-2 weeks)
Proposed Dates: 6th – 20th March TBC
Working Hours: 9:00am – 9:00pm
Working Days: Working every day
Salary: £25gph
