We're looking for a Learning & Development Business Partner to join our team at Wilson James. This senior manager position is a high-impact role, responsible for overseeing learning initiatives that support over 2,000 employees in our Security sector, while managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously. You will partner with key business leaders and stakeholders to design, deliver, and embed learning programmes that drive performance and build future capability.

About the Role: As an L&D Business Partner, you will consult with the security leadership team, aligning learning strategies with organisational objectives. You will deliver innovative learning programmes, champion digital learning, and support a culture of continuous development, while managing multiple projects and being a trusted business partner to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to identify skills gaps and shape divisional learning strategies.
• Design and deliver inclusive, engaging, and outcome-focused learning programmes.
• Lead on digital learning solutions, LMS management, and content development.
• Analyse learning effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.
• Support apprenticeship programmes, from provider liaison to learner support.
• Drive a culture of learning through key initiatives and events.
• Act as a trusted business partner, providing insight and guidance to senior stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor colleagues and support professional development initiatives.
• Manage and deliver multiple large-scale learning projects across the security division.

What we are looking for:

• Proven L&D experience with a focus on business partnership and large-scale project management.

• Proven ability to design, deliver, and evaluate impactful learning interventions across large numbers of people

• Experience managing apprenticeships and the apprenticeship levy.

• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.

• Proficient with LMS and e-learning tools; confident in implementing digital learning.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong data analysis skills to measure learning outcomes.

• CIPD or Level 3 Education & Training qualification.

Desirable:

• Coaching qualification and/or psychometric tool accreditation (e.g., DiSC).

• Degree-level education or equivalent.
• Experience working in the security industry
