Job title: AI Developer (Backend & Frontend) Location: London (Hybrid, Minimum 2 Days Onsite per Week) Contract Length: 12 Months IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Rate: Negotiable We are currently recruiting for multiple AI Developer opportunities to support a major enterprise AI programme. These roles offer the chance to work at the forefront of AI innovation, developing intelligent applications and solutions that leverage the latest advancements in Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and modern cloud technologies. We are seeking both Backend AI Developers and Frontend AI Developers who are passionate about building scalable, secure, and user-focused AI solutions within a collaborative delivery environment. The Role As an AI Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating AI-powered applications and services. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that drive business value and enhance user experiences. Depending on your specialism, you will contribute to backend AI services, frontend user interfaces, or a combination of both. Essential Skills & Experience Python | LLM Integration | Prompt Engineering | RAG Architectures | Vector Databases | Embeddings & Tokenisation | AWS Services | Git / Version Control | REST APIs | Authentication, Authorisation, Firewalls & API Gateway Frontend Experience (For Frontend Developers) React or Other Modern Web Frameworks | TypeScript | UX Implementation | API Integration Desirable Skills MCP (Model Context Protocol) | IBM watsonx Orchestrate | CI/CD Pipelines What We're Looking For

• Experience developing AI-enabled applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Strong understanding of LLM integration and prompt engineering techniques.
• Experience designing and implementing RAG-based solutions.
• Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, and tokenisation concepts.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Strong API development and integration skills.
• Understanding of secure application design, authentication, authorisation, and API gateways.
• Ability to work effectively within agile, multidisciplinary teams.
