Backed by private equity following a recent acquisition, the business is investing heavily in new capacity across Europe and creating exciting opportunities for talented engineers to join its growing team.
The Role
We are seeking an ambitious Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Design & Product Development team in London. Reporting to the Head of Design & Product Development, you will be responsible for developing next-generation mechanical infrastructure designs for data centres, including multi-MW heat rejection systems, heat export, hall-scale air cooling, and direct-to-chip cooling technologies.

It’s an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in major infrastructure projects who enjoys seeing their designs progress through to construction and operation.
Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of product development initiatives from concept through to launch.
Partner with global operations and development teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
Key Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the design or delivery of major infrastructure projects.
Hands-on experience with Revit.
Chartered or working towards professional accreditation.
Proven ability to lead initiatives or projects through to completion.
Interest in the built environment, sustainable infrastructure, and technology.
Willingness to travel internationally (UK, Finland, Iceland).

Salary of £65,000 – £75,000, plus benefits.
Opportunity to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed business at a pivotal stage of expansion.
A collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture.
Exposure to cutting-edge mechanical and cooling technologies in critical infrastructure.
Career development within a talented, ambitious international team.
