Area Sales Representative

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading provider of powered-access machinery seeking an experienced sales professional to cover some of their client bases across London. Dealing with both existing and new clients, the successful candidate will benefit from a competitive salary, commission and car. This is a great opportunity for an experienced salesperson from within powered access, plant hire, cranes or a closely related industry, looking for their next career move.

Responsibilities

• Managing an existing client base across London and the immediate surrounding areas
• Developing this client base further through the sale of their powered access product range including scissor lifts, boom lifts and spider lifts
• Identify new sales opportunities for these products
• Attending site to win new business and hiring out a variety of powered access equipment
• Dealing with industrial clients for the more specialised access equipment

Requirements

It is essential that you have experience of selling powered access equipment due to the requirements of the role. You must have a proven track record in a sales capacity and be able to provide a consultative sell to customers. Crucially you will be a dynamic individual with the drive and ability to manage existing and open new customer accounts. It is also a requirement that you hold a full UK driver’s license. The company are willing to look at candidates within North London and the immediate surrounding areas as the will be a requirement to go to the office in North London.
