Psychology Graduate – SEN Teaching Assistant

A highly inclusive and well-resourced secondary school in Camden is looking for a driven and compassionate Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their SEN support team. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who are considering careers in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy , or Specialist Teaching .

Working closely with students who have EHCPs , you’ll support those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) , Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH)needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) , and communication challenges . You’ll provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver personalised support to students with additional learning and emotional needs
• Work with pupils displaying challenging behaviour, using evidence-based strategies
• Assist students with ASD and communication difficulties, supporting social interaction and independence
• Collaborate with therapists, SENCOs, and teaching staff to ensure holistic support
• Develop your knowledge of EHCPs, adaptive teaching, and early intervention
