Python Engineer

What youll be doing:

• Build and enhance bespoke Python & Data Engineering solutions for our clients
• Enhance and grow your data engineering knowledge among subject matter experts in our learning and development ecosystem
• Deliver high quality best practice software solutions
• Use a range of architectures tools and frameworks
• Have the opportunity to learn and gain certification in new technologies
• Recommend implement and knowledge share new ideas and innovations
• Work as part of a dynamic team
• Produce clean and efficient solutions based on specifications
• Liaise directly and in-person with client team in London 

Qualifications :

• Minimum bachelors degree ideally in computer science mathematics or other STEM discipline.
• Minimum two years software development experience with strong programming ability in Python 
• Experience with SQL and relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL.
• Experience working in Linux on the command line.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate well with others.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with C is advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of AWS e.g. EC2 RDS S3.
• DevOps knowledge e.g. git Docker GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to front-end development e.g. TypeScript React.
• Financial domain knowledge is advantageous but training will be offered.
