Technical Business Analyst - IRRBB

We're currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Technical Business Analyst - IRRBB.You’ll be at the heart of our IRRBB Transformation, leading the end-to-end business analysis process and collaborating with Treasury, Technology, and Model Quants teams to shape the future of interest rate risk management. Your expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement will be highly valued, and you’ll build strong relationships across Treasury, Risk, Finance, and IT. In this role you'll:
- Navigate the full business analysis process, including gathering, documenting, and validating requirements, and securing stakeholder sign-off
- Collaborate closely with Treasury, Technology, and Model Quants teams to elicit, analyse, and prioritise business requirements for IRRBB calculations and reporting enhancements
- Partner with technology teams throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring business requirements are clearly understood and delivered as intended
- Build strong relationships and facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with stakeholders across Treasury, Risk, Finance, and IT to communicate requirements, progress, and outcomes
- Develop test cases, validate outputs, and coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure robust, scalable, and future-proof technology solutions
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Knowledge and experience with of markets products (Bonds, SWAPS, Loans), cash flow modelling, IRRBB and regulatory reporting is essential
- Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, with a track record of delivering technology-enabled transformation projects
- Experience of the software development lifecycle, including Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
- Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business process re-engineering
- Demonstrable ability to be able to collaborate with technology teams and a variety of key stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions, ideally within Treasury, Risk, or Finance domains
